Beginner Knitting
This easy knit pattern is suitable for beginner knitters.  Knitted in 2 x 8 ply yarns together, this vest has no buttonholes, separate bands or shoulder shaping to worry about.  The garment can be fastened together with a pin, brooch, or cord tie made from the same yarn.  If using a button at the neck, there is no need to create a buttonhole as the stitches on the garment are large enough to accommodate a button.

14 stitches and 16 rows to 10cm using two yarns together on 7mm needles.
